Pulse of the City Project

Earlier this month I posted about the Rover Evoque launch in Paris. To continue spreading the word about the all-new urban compact Range Rover, the brand has launched the Pulse of the City Project. Range Rover has pulled together 40 influential 'City Shapers' to share what inspires them about their city. The Shapers span ten cities and work in shaping fashion, design, music and film. The collaboration will last about 12 months and includes the likes of: Georgina Chapman, Henry Holland, Daisy Lowe, Jessica Schwartz and Piers Fawkes.

With questions changing monthly, each of the Shapers will voice what inspires them about their city, and have their journeys tracked - basically giving their audience an interactive guide of the places they frequent. The information can be tracked via the Evoque site and the the Pulse of the City app. As the audience follows the Shapers, they will be able to contribute their own content and become a part of the project. Ultimately, the journeys taken and the information contributed will be displayed online and in 2011 in physical spaces around the world.

The project is a great way to get influencers and city dwellers together to craft a story. All while promoting the Rover Evoque as an essential piece to a city lifestyle.
