Inspired by Origami, Tina Hovsepian has invented a cardboard shelter that pops up and folds down like an origami balloon. Cardborigami, her design name, still has a little ways to go, but the overall concept is there. Tina is looking to make the shelters waterproof and fire-resistant so they can hold together and be deployed in disaster situations. Pretty nifty...
