Video Friday! - Tanzanian boy re-enacts "Commando," Schwarzenegger and all

My beautiful friend Nyla Rodgers is the founding director of Mama Hope. The California-based nonprofit was erected to help build self-sufficient communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mama Hope works with local communities to invest in "hight impact, cost effective projects that meet their fundamental needs for food, water, education and heath care."

The clip below is video in a series produced by Joe Sabia and Whirled Creative as part of the "Stop the Pity. Unlock the Potential Campaign". The clip features Alex, a 9 year old Tanzanian boy, who loves  and re-enacts the 1985 action movie Commando starring Schwarzenegger. I love this video. Not only does it fall in line with the campaign, it resonates with you that Alex is not someone to pity, but someone who should be celebrated. He is simply a bright and fun loving 9 year old.

Thought I would spread the love today by posting this video. If you feel inspired to reach out and help take a look at Mama Hope's site to see how you can get involved.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
