Rune Madsen, a multimedia artist, carried out an interactive experiment which looked at the way in which people adapt to barricades in their walking path. People Watching Plus shows how Madsen was able to direct the flow of foot traffic on a sidewalk without anyone questioning the barricades. Check out the video he made. It's an interesting piece to watch. Only one or two people look at the barricades and question their purpose. All others wait patiently for their turn to pass through.
