Alcatraz Delivery Service and A Philharmonic Surprise!

Over the next few days, I want to post about some really neat campaigns.

A Philharmonic Surprise

Recently, the Copenhagen Philharmonic surprised passengers in the Copenhagen Metro by hosting a flash mob. To help promote and celebrate the 2012/2013 season, the orchestral flash mob performed and recorded their version of Morning, from Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt. I would actually find this a super pleasant surprise during my commute.

Alcatraz Delivery – Prison Food Delivery Service

To promote the first season of the hit TV show Alcatraz in Spain, Leo Burnett Iberia decided on a different way to help promote and build hype for the show. The agency created a fast food delivery service called Alcatraz Delivery, which was actually based on an actual prison food delivery service.

Each order is pretty much what you can expect from prison, and it was hand delivered by a prison inmate complete with accompanying police officer. Each order contained food and a package containing information about the show and the Premier. They even went as far as to create a customer service line. See the case study below.
