Understanding Millennials

As quoted by the Edelman and StrategyOne study, The 8095 Exchange: Millennials, Their Actions Surrounding Brands, and the Dynaics of Reverberation, more than 1.7 billion people on earth today are between 15 and 30 years of age. Generally coined as Generation Y or the Millennial Generation, Edelman has renamed the diverse population born between 1980 and 1995 as 8095ers.

With the millennial generation growing and increasingly taking a larger role in the way Brands need to interact with their audiences; Edelman took on the challenge of finding out who the Millennials are, how connect with brands, form opinions about brands and companies, use technology to stay connected to with friends and networks. Besides the study, Edelman has created a blog style site. The open forum for sharing has helped to compile amazing data.
