IBM's Color Sensitive Supply Chain

IBM's color-sensitive Supply Chain billboard is a great piece of interactive marketing for the company. Not to mention it recently won them gold at the London International Awards. The billboard adapts to people standing in front of it by changing to match the color of their outfit. The sign, part of IBM's Smarter Planet Campaign, was designed to show the ways in which consumer data can have implications around shipping, inventory and sales. The sign is controlled by high-brightness architectural LED arrays and are controlled by live video signals. The messaging is: "A smarter supply chain responds faster to customer preferences," along with the challenge "Let's build a smarter planet."
